Bonjour !
Once upon a time, a princess named Anastasia was living in a sumptuous castle hidden in the forest. She was of rare beauty and always beautifully dressed. Among all her suitors (pretenders), she chose a handsome young knight of the courtyard of the King (je préfère rajouter Roi, parce que court yard = cour intérieure...comme une cour de récré ), named Louis. This good-looking rider (beautiful est vraiment trop "femme" pour la beauté comme "pretty") was madly in love with princess.Anastasia but he couldn't marry her because of their different social status (rank). But , one day, as princess Anastasia was going for a walk in the forest, ( to go for a walk = aller se promener), she met an ugly woman . She went close to her, and before Anastasia had time to talk to her, she had slammed her fingers (slam = claquer ????) Pourquoi tu as mis speak to him ??? erreur où j'ai loupé quelque chose ??). Suddenly, the two women found themselves in an old cabin (hut).
For two days King Charles 1 was worried and finally decided to send a
knight in search of his daughter around the lands and the forest. He sent
actually the handsome Louis. After long hours wandering (errant) in this
damp and dark forest, he met an ogre. He asked him if he hadn't seen
a pretty woman nearby. The ogre answered nobody was living in this part of the forest but added the witch might have kidnapped her (remove = enlever ses mains de sa poche par ex ou du vernis à ongles).
Les 2 phrases d'après, je suis pas sûr du tout de les comprendre surtout "didn't touch passers sound"....????? re-écris les en français stp en comment)
The young Louis (rider..comme tu veux) asked where the old woman was living, and the ogre showed him the way. Louis was so eager to meet
his beloved (bienaimée), that he galoped very quickly and arrived to the witch's house. Louis (went well = alla bien ?? si oui -->) suddenly felt better when he saw Anastasia even if she was tied up.
Immediatly, Louis took a huge book on the table and threw it at the old woman's face. The cruel witch didn't react ..après c'est contradictoire:
elle a plus de force mais elle est fatiguée ????le quel des 2? J'invente et tu verras si ça te va / The cruel witch didn't react beacause she still had strength, but in the same time, she was exhausted for having prepared all her potions, she didn't have much energy left. She tried to utter a magic formula to avoid the book, Louis quickly untied Anastasia and both fled on the back of the horse. King Charles 1 congratulated and rewarded the brave kinght Louis with a ?????.
Finally the beautiful princess Anastasia and the handsome knight Louis got married . They had lots of children and lived happily !!
