The French stereotypes are the picture of a French man wearing a Bask on his head beret, carrying a French bread under his arm and a bottle of red wine. French people are considered as peasant with their berets, as bread eaters and drinkers.
French people can be called French Froggies because in France we eat frogs which is not the case in the USA in Great Britain.
Furthermore some English-speaking countries see us with very negative attributes such the French stinks (meaning that French people do no wash, do not take showers), French women do not shave and are hairy.
Turists see the French people as being rude, in particular in Paris. French people are known as being arrogant. I guess that foreigners are chauvinistic as well.
