Captain America, a once scrawny kid from Brooklyn, became one of the most famous of the Avengers after being injected with a serum. His physique is that of a bodybuilder. His muscular appearance, along with his good looks are what allowed him to make the front cover of magazines and be the symbol of the perfect American soldier. Captain America's costume has the colours of the US flag. Perhaps his most famous trademark is the round sheild (made by Howard Stark, Iron Man's father).
