Dear mother and father,
My first month at Hogwarts has been a blast. When I arrived, the school felt huge and massive compared to its tiny students. Everything felt so old and delicate. When I first met the faculty, they were very kind and encouraging as they led us into the classroom. After that, I had the Sorting ceremony and I was placed into House Gryffindor. I have met many students who have the same interests and are in the same House as me, there is Tom aged 14 who is my best friend and Emily aged 16 who is the smartest in the class. It took me a while but my favorite subject is alchemy because I love chemistry and my creativity can be a lot more useful with magic! My Defense Against the Dark Arts class was amazing! We were in a simulation and we had to fight magic beasts with spells taught by our teacher. It was the best time of my life.
