Anyways, here is a description: From the photo given, we can see 3D printed shoes! Not only do they look awesome, this photo shoes the capabilities of a 3D printer! Before we go any further we can talk about some history! The first 3D printer was invented in the mid 1980's by Charles W. Hull. His 3D printer used the stereolithography technique, which is a very expensive commercial technique, often costing around 100,000$ or more just for the machines. In 1986, that's where it all changed! Charles founded 3D Systems, which is until this day a company that sells 3D printers that use a variety of technologies!
3D printing are used for a multitude of things! But it's commonly used amongst designers to quickly turn their concepts into 3D models or even prototypes!
3D printers can be used by anyone and everyone! 3D printers are even used in the Medical field! For example to make prosthetics, hearing aids, artificial teeth and this may sound crazy but even replicate models of organs, tumors, and other internal bodily
structures! 3D printing is a great invention! But how far will we go with it? That's the question! With great technology comes great responsibility!
