First of all, we discover new cultures and ways of living life. They're are so many languages out there that it's so very intriguing to listen to other people and watch them communicate in their own habitat. It's lovely to see landmarks and it's very interesting to learn about those countries, so it makes us much more open minded about new cultures and we become less judgemental.
Second of all, we meet new people. Whether we just talk to the cashier in a shop or with a fellow tourist. It's always lovely to learn about their culture from their own words. We get new friends and it's much better than a guide book because they know all the best places to go that might not be in that book that will enrich our lives!
Lastly, they will be stories that we will tell our children's children when we grow older and get gray hair. We will be able to share anecdotes and funny stories about our fun times. Sometimes they might be sad but all in all they enrich our mind to make us long to go to new places!
