Last July, in 2016, on July 23rd, we flew with my parents (family ?) to Dubaï. When we landed at 10 a.m.in Dubaï, the temperature was already as high as 39° degrees Celsius !! The airport over there is magnificent .
The next day , in the morning , we had rented a dune buggy and we drove in the desert till the afternoon. Then we came back and had lunch to the Gordon Ramsey 's restaurant. It was quite expensive but delicious.
At 2 p.m., we decided to go to the beach. An hour later, we had to leave ...The sand was so hot it was burning our feet, and the sea was so warm, it couldn't cool us down.
We had rented an Hotel room at the Atlantis Hotel. When we got there, we asked if we could visit the Royal Suite. It costs more than 36 000 Euros a night . We were told that in the bathrooms, the water taps were gold taps, marble was everywhere. (j'invente un peu parce que je comprends pas du tout ton passage sur " the shower avec le champing ?? champagne ??? ça se dit pareil...je vais broder tout en sachant que c'est plausible....ma mère est déjà aller là-bas y a très longtemps). This Royal suite was so big , it has its own lift. (son propre ascenseur...ça existe) (l'histoire des 60% et 40% je comprends vraiment pas...et là je veux pas dire n'importe quoi......si tu veux dire que le champagne représente 60 % de l'argent dépensé dans le budget de la suite ou quelque chose comme ça...= Champagne (on dit comme en Français) was around 60 % of the money spent by the people renting this suite and if you wanted to order another bottle, it was another 1000 dollars a bottle.
The day after, we had gone skydiving (= nous sommes partis faire du parachute au present perfect..j'essaie de mettre un peu de present perfect où je peux...puisque c'est dans la consigne...). A very great experience.
Then we had decided to go to Mecca for two weeks. We slept in the desert, and, once more , it was a magical and unforgettable experience.
We left on the 3rd of August back to Lille and a week later we flew to Morocco (tu peux rajouter pour y passer quelque temps, ou pour visiter de la famille ex = to visit some family / to spend a few weeks.....)
