Notting Hill Carnival is a very famous and important event which takes place in London during the weekend before the last Monday of August.
It takes place of course in the Notting Hill district and lasts two days.
It began in 1966 and attracts every year around one million people.
It's a free celebration of the Caribbean communities. The costumes are amazing on the defile(with a contest of the best one, and it's a full time reggae dance, salsa, musics of all kinds, Caribbean food.....
It usually begins on Saturday with a steel-band contest.
Then all the streets around are crowded...and yo just have to let you go with the music, the dances....
