Bonjour,
At the time of the independence of the country, the freedom to carry a weapon is introduced. The idea is to allow them to be armed so that they can protect citizens against the federal state. Weapons are part of the American cultural identity.
A number of shootings have drawn attention to this phenomenon, beginning with the massacres of Columbine High School and Virginia Tech. 47% of Americans admit that there is a firearm in their property. It is prohibited at the federal level to sell guns under 21 years of age. There seems to be a real attachment to firearms in the United States, where they are considered not only as weapons but as collectibles and leisure items.
There are so many guns that there is so much violence, or if it is because there is a risk of violence that the Americans, to protect themselves, have this kind of weapons at home
All of its weapons could reduce crime in the United States. Possession of a weapon would allow Americans to protect themselves in the event of an attack, and would have a deterrent effect on criminals: burglars, for example, would think twice before entering a house potentially owned by the owner a gun. Another argument of people in favor of firearms: if a measure were to restrict access to such weapons, only honest people would submit to it. They would therefore be particularly vulnerable to attacks by armed criminals.
The right to possess a firearm is therefore enshrined in the Constitution since the ratification of the Bill of Rights in 1791.
So we must carry a weapon, because there are certain places where nature is dangerous.
