If on day, I was the witness of a case of extortion I would propably help the victim if the scene took place at school.
First of all, I think I would do my best to make understand to the person who try to steal that he could have trouble and if I were him I would think before acting.
I would tell him if it was his brother or sister in such situation what he would do
Or, I could also call an adult to solve the problem.
It's not so easy to say what we would do in such case for sure.
Nowadays, such behavior is unhappily very common and dangerous too.
