les adj. courts se terminant par -y = -ier (pretty--> prettier)
les adj. courts consonne-voyelle-consonne = on double la consonne =
big---> bigger/fat = fatter
les adj. courts se terminant par un e = +r (nice-->nicer)
les adj. se terminant par -ow, -er, et -le = les 2 formes sont acceptées
clever--> cleverer / more clever --- simple---simpler/more simpler ...
s'ils ont 2 syllabes.
Exceptions =
bad = worse / the worst (superlatif)
good = better / the best (superlatif)
far = farther / the farthest (superlatif)
further / the furthest (superlatif) les 2 sont acceptés.

pour la e pas de "than" puisque pas de comparaison avec quelqu'un ou quelque chose, simplement "plus heureux"...
