Bonjour,
I will talk about the disadvantages and advantages of fast foods.
First of all, I will name the advantages of these fast food restaurants, often called "snack bars", such as Mc Donald's, or Subway which come from the United States. As the name suggests, food is quickly served, is rather good, tastes good, and is rather quick to eat since it serves hamburgers and pizzas, so it saves time for people in a hurry. In addition, for people who drive, there is no need to get out of the car, so it allows you to quickly take the ordered dishes with you. There are many fast food restaurants, so they are pretty easy to find. There is at least one in every city.
You can eat cheaper in a fast food restaurant than in a restaurant, since the price is generally lower than in traditional restaurants. The prices are therefore quite reasonable, and it is practical and simple for customers who lack the time to prepare their meals.
Children love going to these places because they can get a small plastic toy, or a book, and play in the playgrounds. There is therefore often a young and friendly atmosphere.
I will now talk about the disadvantages of fast foods. The dishes served in these places are most often hamburgers or sandwiches, with fries and soft drinks. You can also eat hot dogs, pizzas... Unfortunately, all these foods contain a lot of fat, so it is very bad and harmful for your health. In burgers and fries, there are plenty of fat, calories and much salt. In drinks, you can find a lot of sugar, and it's the same for sauces ( ketchup...) So, this food is often associated with junk food, and partly responsible for obesity, and it can cause diseases of fear, diabetes and cancer. In the United States, the size of drinks and sandwiches etc.. Everything is huge!
The menus don't really change, they're not varied. They are often always the same.
On the other hand, you can be satisfied very quickly, but then get hungry very quickly, and still want to consume.
I think that if some people who are addicted to fast foods could cook fresh products themselves, it couldn't be much more expensive, and it would be healthier.
Une petite remarque: Quick ne vient pas des US mais de Belgique et à ma connaissance, il n'y en a même pas aux US. J'ai pris la liberté de changer le Quick en Subway.
J'espère t'avoir aidé
