The expedition began in 1804
They mainly travelled on water because it was the fastest way to travel.
They crossed some beautiful territories such as Montana.
They met many Indians, most of them were friendly : they helped them, they guided them and gave them horses.
Some people considered this expedition as a failure because they didn't find a North West passage; whereas some considered it a success because they brought back notes and maps which turned out to be very useful for the next.
