Exercice 1.
Aliens have landed on Earth. NASA's officials haven't managed to make real contact so far.
The army has called language profesor Louise Banks for help. She has never worked for the space energy, she has never traveled to space but she has always had a passion for languages.
Her mission: making contact with the aliens. The main question:
" Why the aliens have come?"
Are they friends or foes? One way to find out... understanding their language.
Exercice 2
We have been here for seven week now and have done many experiments.
Two days ago, Scott managed to create soil and he planted vegetables .
We have been on three exploration missions so far, but we haven't found any living creatures yet.
Our last mission was three days ago.
We took the roover and traveled north on the landing site.
The landscape is quite mountainous.
We have never seen such high mountains before.
We didn't found any source of water.
So far, we haven't encountered any serious problems.
