Today, people are tempted to buy things they don't need or they can't afford. I have noticed that Most of people act like that. After all, we are living in a consumer society which is always using advertising to create constantly a need. It's very difficult to resist sometimes. Nowadays, one can underlined that it is the poorest who buy brands clothes. For example, when Apple release a new iphone, even if people have already a phone, they are queueing to buy the new one, despite the price. People waste too much money often the poorest one. They even make credits to buy what they want to. But I must stress on the fact that our society do its best to awake impulse buy items. It's hard to resist the pressure! Sometimes you feel bad and you go shopping buying clothes or something else and you feel better. Generally speaking, it's a way to make your problems vanish. By the way, everyday our mail box are full of ads with promotions, sales and discounts. Lot of people have a lack of control and buy everything even if they don't really need it. It happens that teenagers buy brands lonely because they want to belong to a social group to be accepted by them : they simply want others to like them more. Commercials influence us of course hard to resist!
