Dear MP,
I have the honour to explain to you why women should have the right to vote.
I have been a Suffragette for many years now. We are in the beginning of XXth century and while we have to obey the Law. The Law should be able to have a voice in choosing those who make the Law. Women need to express their wishes of the people, both men and women with direct representation. I belong to the bourgeoisie
The suffragette movement I belong to, is mainly supported by women from the bourgeoisie. Fortunately, I belong to this privileged class. I am defending the legitimacy of having the franchise. I wish to recall that Franchise is the right to vote in an election, especially one in which women and men elect a parliament.
I look forward to receiving reply from you reflecting your feelings and in a positive way your action on women’s voting.
