After Mary's father died, her mother dressed her as a boy and she joined the Royal Navy.
She married a Flemish soldier. But he soon died and then Mary met some pirates.
At that time, pirates banned women from their ships but Mary wore men's clothes and carried pisyols so the crew didn't know she was a girl.
She became a very famous pirate.
