1- The country represented is the United States, the Western part of it.
The first and the third images make me think to the movies called "Western " or ""Farwest" where the Indigenous people of America, Indian Americans, were hunting bisons. It was more or less before the Golden Rush when migants came by covered wagons pulled by horses.
.. In some parts of the United States as in Texas, California, Nevada and others States which still have ranches, the cowboys've kept a traditionnal attire as the cowboy hat ,named has well Stetson, the cowboy boots and of course a pair of jeans.
2- the pictures 1 and 3 are representing the past as said above. The pictures 2 and 4 are the present. Number 5 is probably in the past according the way the cowboys are dressed. But otherwise , it could be nowadays.
3- Indians were hunting bisons and cowboys were herders (+ ou - bergers taking care of cattles (bétails) on a ranch, both horseback (à cheval).
4- There are still a lot of ranches, bigger, and the cowboys have more responsabilities than a simple herder. They are also participating to rodeos. Horses are replaced by motorbikes but they still have their Stetson on top of their head !
The native Indians were nomadic tribes. They tried to resist and preserve their traditions but the United States forced them to cede their lands . There was an ethnic cleaning of many tribes. Nowadays, the United States have established many reservations for them in many western States .
