- Nothing much. I was just on the phone with Steve and he was telling me that he was finilazing the paperworks to move here.
- Paperworks? why?
- Because he is from Spain and there is a lot of things that needs to be checked with the immigration.
- Really? What type of things?
- Well for starters, the reason why he is trying to come to the country. It can be for family reasons, for work, to study or any other reasons. After that, he has to be able to prove that he can be financially stable. If he is coming to study which is the case here, he needs to prove that he will have enough money to survive througough the school year. I heard that it was even better if he obtained a scolarship form the school. He also needs to prove that he has a place to stay. Other friends of mine also had to medical consultations and they can also ask you a lot of papers.
- Woah! That is a long process. Don't you think that they are doing a bit too much?
- Honestly, not really. Or else everyone would just be allowed in and out without troubles.
- Would that be that bad if anyone was allowed in a country without having to hand in any paper or information?
- Well yes it would, because not everyone who gets in does it for the good reasons and you also don't want too many people in a country. Imagine if it was that easy and you could go where ever you wanted or how long you without without having to show any paper. People will choose to go to specific countries and than the country will be overpopulated, there won't be any space for everyone, not to mention the job offers too and last but not least polution.

- So maybe there is a lot of information and paperwork to fill in but it is necessary for the prosperity of a country and it's habitants.
