Dear Judge Gray,
I am writing a formal letter to ask you for a compensation. I had been through many difficulties throughout that period of my life. I was unemployed and I was losing my identity. Since I am an aboriginal, I had to face constant racism and bullying when I was young. My white family didn't treat me very well. What happened was, a neighbour had driven me off his yard since he thought I was trying to steal his flowers, I was just passing by. I was then given away to a white family because my original family couldn't help me. My new mother, who had not given me permission to go to school with other white children. Now, I must face unemployment and homelessness because of my inabilities. I hope you can give me some compensation for these acts of racism and the injuries I have suffered when I was being separated from my original family.
