The generation gap is the difference of opinions and culture between one generation and the other. This creates a "gap" between the two generations and it often makes the two conflict. You can see the stark differences by the use of language, technology, and political opinions. The newer generation tend to use more recent slang and articulate language in a more updated manner. They also have wide access to increasingly better technology, like computers that are hundreds times more powerful than their predecessors. The majority of youth and liberal and tend to have a left-sided political stance, such as the belief that gay marriage and cannabis should be legalized. However, these differences create tension with the older generation who tend to be more conservative.
