Nowadays, people are getting conscious of a better way to feed themselves to be healthier. They are conscious that you have to eat to live but not live to eat .The hamburgers'fans are also drinking sodas and probably eating french fries .... Where are the vegetables or fruits ? Which means where are vitamins and fibers ? We do need five portions of fruits and vegetables per day because we don't want to be diabetic or have cardio-vascular problems and we don't need so much fat.
Plus, eating in a fastfood evrey day isn't cheaper than cooking your own meals.
Homemade food has this advantage that you know where does it come from, you know how it has been prepared. You can cook big quantities on the weeekend, and then freeze portions of it.
You may go once a month in the best fastfood, but not every day. It's too fat, there's too much sugar and your body won't appreciate it.
There are more and more vegan . You may decide , for whatever reasons, to stop eating meat. But you have to find how to replace it, to get the same nutriments and you will keep in a good shape. My mother hasn't been eating any meat for fourty years (pas obligé de le mettre mais dans mon cas c'est vrai et elle se porte super bien !!) and she's never ill . She is really doing well.
