Patrick was born in 381.One day, pirates kidnapped him and he became a slave.He escaped and hid himself (in a monastery) in Britain in France and became a Christian. When he came back to Ireland, (he learned to the Irish the Holy Trinity with a shamrock), and preached Christianity till his death.
He became the saint patron of Ireland and the St Patrick's day is celebrated everywhere all over the world on the 17th March
