Titanic is a dramatic American romance written, produced and directed by James Cameron, released in 1997.
It tells the story of two young passengers of the liner Titanic in April 1912. One, Rose, is a first-class passenger who tries to commit suicide to free herself from the constraints imposed by those around her, and the second, Jack, is a wanderer boarded at the last minute in third class to return to the United States. They meet by chance during the suicide attempt of Rose and live a love story quickly troubled by the sinking of the ship.
