For me it's the best Tim Burton'student film. As for Johnny Depp, this role of director to the faith is the most awesome and the wackiest suits him perfectly. There is an obvious morality in this film but it is nice to see. We are pleased to see these 4 rascals punished where they sinned and their parents who are the direct culprits. The air of nothing represents the four most devastating vices in children (and the biggest): gluttony, greed, violence, contempt of others. We hope they learn from their unforgettable adventure. As for Charlie, the most extraordinary child, of wisdom, generosity and maturity quite exceptional. Of course it is a bit caricatural to see a child of this age concentrate in him so many virtues while the other children of the contest represent the incarnation of the defect that they carry
