my ancestor's name was Richard.he was transported to Australia because he had stolen bread on a market in London.When he arrived there he wrote to his family but the letter took months to be given to his mother who was very upset .He explained he had found new friends.He was well treated.He ate good new meals and enjoyed because he was learning a new work to be able to live by himself.
