Bonjour svp aidez moi je n'ai pas compris c'est un travail en anglais voila se qui est marquée : LET'S SURF THE INTERNET !!

Who was GUY FAWKES'NIGHT ? What did he do ? what happened ? How do english people celebrate it nowadays

In 1650 Guy Fawkes, is a catholic person, with his friends conspirators tried to blow up the Parliament( while King James 1er was inside), because they disagreed whith the politics of the King. They maneged to store 30 powder kegs in a cellar, under the Parliament, but before the opening of the Parliament on November 5th, the "Gunpowder Plot" was discovered. Guy Fawkes and his friends were executed for treason.

Since then we celebrated Guy Fawkes'Nignt the November 5th by fireworks. Guy Fawkes Night is known more by Bomb Fire Night.
