Once upon a time there was a King and a Queen who lived in a very beautiful big castle near a river. They had a son named Stephen who was very loved by his father more than anything else in the world. One day the Queen received in her window a letter by a homing pigeon which adressed to her husband. But he wasn't here so she decided to open the letter. She discoverd inside a love letter by her sister Elisabeth. In front of the infidelity of her husband she was very angry and wanted revenge. The Queen took her son violently by the arm and drowned him in the river.
After she realised what she done, she cried, cried her eyes out and prayed to have back Stephen. She promised to search a child identical to her son to replace him.
Nobody knew where she was.
She attracted children with the melody of her cry tears witch burned them. Some who glimpsed her said that she was horrible. She wore a long dirty white dress, she had long black hair, red eyes with dark rings under her eyes, and a very pale face. When a mirror breaks, they know that she is not very far. All the village were afraid of she and nicknammed her “ The White Queen”.
