First, I went to one of the finest tourist destination in the country, Chicago !
There are so much amazing places I visited like the Millenium Park, a giant park where you can see public art and attend special events like concerts and more ! This vast park is clearly one of the most popular places in Chicago to spend time outdoors in the city. Then I went to see cute little African penguins at the Lincoln Park Zoo ! It has more than 1000 animals and is one of the few remaining free zoo in the country. So yeah, it was wild !
For lunch, I traveled by taxi to the pizzeria Lou Malnati on 439 N Wells Street.
I ordered the vegetarian pizza with the tomatoes and mushroom. The crust was yummy and crispy and complimented the insane amount of cheese and sauce that we had. The service was also great and it was just a great restaurant to relax ! I also met a nice girl named Sherley who was sitting next to me at the pizzeria and we had a awesome conversation about Chicago in general and it's famous places.
Next day, I was in Dallas with bus ! Dallas is an awesome city in Texas, it has a lot of attractions and I went to see the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, a nationally acclaimed 66 acre display garden features breathtaking floral displays all year long. All the scents and the colours of the flowers, plants, everything was so beautiful, I was amazed by this garden's beauty. But they were a lot of bugs and a bee almost attacked me, ha, I was a little scared I guess but this place was still fun ! For lunch I had a delicious, warm hotdog with a lot of ketchup that I bought in a food-truck that was passing by. I talked a bit with the man that hold the food-truck, he was old but very funny and kind, his jokes made my whole day even better !
Last day, I went to Las Vegas, yeah ! The biggest city of Nevada and a very touristic place. The city is in the middle of the Mojaves desert, one of the driest desert of North-America. So at night, I visited the Las Vegas Strip and downtown, a nocturnal visit from 7 pm to 10 pm with a open-top bus !
We saw all thoses fancy casinos and their colorful lights, there were a tons of artists and we passed near by the famous sign "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas". This shiny city had me speechless, my eyes were blinded by the modern beauty of the dreamy lights and monuments we passed by like the Golden Nugget, a very fancy hotel-casino.
The trip was over, I flew back out of Los Angeles. I was a bit sad it ended, but like they say, don't cry because it's over but smile because it happened ! I absolutely loved this breathtaking and amazing trip to the USA.
