Dear future self
How are you? I hope that you are well.
I wrote this letter some time ago and gave it to our mom.
I can't predict what your life is like but it's likely that some of the things you may be facing are things you went through with your own parents and others. It's because of that why you wrote yourself this letter.
I can't know what you've gone through since writing this letter. I don't know what situation has caused someone to feel it's time for you to get this letter. I only know that dad is dead and you are sad.
I hope that you'll remember him and that you wanted to learn from your experiences that you learned from him.
But you wrote this letter to help remind you of those times and to accept the advice and assistance of the people who care.
As much for them, as for yourself.
