For me, my hero is Gandhi. He was born in Porbandar October 2, 1869 and died assassinated in Delhi on January 30, 1948. In his youth, he is part of in england do studies to learn European culture and then he returned to India in 1893. Gandhi is a Buddhist who is countered animal or human violence. He was a political leader and guide the movement of the inépendance India.

He was a pioneer of resistance to oppression through mass civil disobedience, this theory was based on non-violent practices such as hunger strike. Gandhi led the Salt March, a famous opposition to the tax on salt. It was he who also launched the call for Quit India Movement on August 8, 1942. He was imprisoned several times in South Africa and India for its activities, he spent a total of six years of his life in prison. Gandhi also fight for the Segregation between Indians and blacks. Between 1946 and 1947, over 5000 people were killed in inter-communal violence. Gandhi is viscerally opposed to plans that would separate India into two countries. On Independence Day, August 15, 1947, Gandhi does not participate in the festivities with the rest of India but still only Calcutta, mourning the partition and working to stop violences.Après peace and independence of the country was set on 30 January 1948, on his way to a prayer meeting, Gandhi was shot dead near Birla House in New Delhi by Nathuram Godse, a Hindu nationalist who has links with the fascist group Hindu Mahasabha. Godse held Gandhi responsible for the partition of India and thereby weakening it.
