In the United States, the public system starts ingreat section of nursery school (Kindergarten)as from 5 years; thus, so that the children are provided education for front, they can beaccommodated (while paying) in crib(daycare), then in nursery school (pre-school/pre-kindergarten). In the United Kingdom, the Nursery School (establishmentspre-school, mainly private) accommodate thechildren before the 5 years age (schooling inthe United Kingdom being obligatory 5 yearsto 16 years); after the School Nursery, thechildren enter in Year 1. Always in the United Kingdom, Secondary School (equivalent of theCollege + High school) can be done either intoUnderstanding School, or in Grammar School.Understanding School are accessible by all.Grammar School are also public, but selective,the entry is based on an aptitude test. (Thereare 163 grammar schools in England after thefirst was introduced in 1944, with the ActEducation which makes compulsory secondaryeducation until the 15 years age). The SchoolsPublic are “independent schools” (private schools) which can be day schools (dayschools) or boarding schools (boardingschools). Lastly, the A-level in the United Kingdom corresponds to Advanced Level(advanced Level)
