the first stereotype is that the British live on fish and chips. it’s false, « this is not the case ».
the second stereotype is that people aren’t respectful. it’s both true and false, «  some people choose to be disrespectful but others are, as in any society ».
the last stereotype is that British love football and cricket. it’s true, but they aren’t the only ones. « rugby is very popular, as are tennis and horse racing »
