b. It was a beautiful Sunday morning. I was taking a stroll downtown, when I realised I was quite hungry. I then decided to go buy a pack of chips in the store...
After looking around for a while, I choose a pack of seaweed chips, my favourite! I go to the lady at the cashier, and very politely say:
"Hello, miss. Could I buy this pack of chips please?"
"Sure!" She tells me, "It'll be 2$."
I suddenly remember I'm in need of a pen. So, I ask the lady:
"Have you got any pens here?"
"Yes, as a matter of fact, we do." She responds.
"How much is one blue pen?" I ask her.
She answers: "1$."
"Great! I'll have both the pack of chips and the blue pen." I declare, "Sorry, that's 3$ total, right?"
"Yes!"
I hand the nice lady the money, and leave carrying my new pen and pack of chips in hand.
