Bonjours je croix pouvoir t'aider mon papa est prof d'anglais dans un college . il m'a traduis ce texte :I chose this theme because in this theme we talk about KKK, a group created in 1865, during the abolition of slavery.
I am particularly interested in this topic because racism and slavery are highlighted. But I do not agree that it is about slavery or racism, because I think we are all equal, white, black, we are all human beings in their own right and I would never understand how we can still to date make differences.
The story of Elizabeth Edeford was more important to me because, thanks to her perseverance and enthusiasm, she managed to prove that blacks and whites were equal. I admire this person, because she was not afraid to assert herself by giving her opinion and by defending him, it is someone very brave, who dares the confrontation for just causes. She entered this school at the risk of being criticized and lynched ... Also, the story of Rosa Parks, which recounts the fact that a white man left his seat to a black man in more need than him, told me questioned once more by the courage that emanated from this person, at the risk of being booed, or even more by other passengers.
I have selected this theme because this topic deals with the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) that was created in 1865 when slavery was abolished.
This topic is particularly of interest to me because it highlights racism and slavery.
Now, I totally disagree with slavery and racism because we are all equal whoever is white or black. We are all full human beings and I will never understand how we can nowadays make racial differences.
Elizabeth Edeford’s story leaves a deep impression on me; Thanks to her perseverance and enthusiasm she succeeded in proving that white and black people are equal. She got into this school braving possible accusations or lynching... …
Moreover, Rosa Parts’ story reports the fact that a white gave up her seat to a black who was more in the need than she was. She was challenged once more by her courage that emanated from Rosa Parks, braving the hoot and even more by other passengers. So, one more time it raised concerns to me
