"I was a leadership team in 5th grade. At the end of the year we were supposed to take a trip to Washington DC. We held dundraisers ans everything. But when it was the time to go, I didn't have the identification papers to buy a plane ticket. So our teacher Ms. Rivera decides that we'd take a bus. Just so I could go too. Tha trip changed my life. It made me want to be a lawyer. And Ms. Rivera became one of the closest people in my life. She always kept in touch. She basically watched me grow up. One time in high school I got in a huge fight with my mom, and Ms. Rivera came and took me on a long car ride. I started to tell her everything, I told her about a recent break-up, and how I smoked weed, and 'I did this' and 'I did that'. She just listened to everything. Then she started telling me about her life too. She told me that she'd been in an abusive relationship. I'd always thought her life was perfect because she was a guidance counselor. But she'd been through so much too. When it came time to apply for college, Ms. Rivera was the one who helped me apply for DACA. She told me about the TheDream.us scholarship. I didn't even want to apply. I was ready to give up. I'd just accepted that I'd always work in restaurants like my mom. But Ms. Rivera made me apply. She said: 'What happened to that girl who wanted to be a mawyer?' I learned that I got the scholarship in February. They're paying for my entire college. Ms. Rivera was so proud of me. She kept saying: 'I told you so.'"

the test talks about a girl in 5th grade who had a life changing road trip to Washington DC at the end of the year let me explain:

it all started when she forgot her identification papers to buy a plane ticket so her teacher, which later became one of the closest person in her life ,decided that they would go by bus just so she could join them, the trip help the girl find her dream job which was becoming a lawyer. *

her teacher helped her through though times like when she got in a fight with her mom, she took her on a long car ride and the girl started to tell her the whole problem. she told her about her recent break up and how she smoked weed and all the things she did, mrs.rivera, her  teacher just listened then told her a little about her life how she was, herself, in an abusive relationship. The girl never thought that, she thought that her teacher had a perfect and amazing life because she was a guidance counselor.

when it was time for the girl to apply for college, mrs.rivera was there. she helped the girl apply to DACA. she told her about a schorlarship but the girl never wanted to apply there and just wanted to give up and just be like her mom and work at  a restaurant, but of course mrs.rivera did not let that happen she asked her about where did the girl who wanted to be a lawyer went and so the girl applied and found out she got the scholarship in February. Mrs.Rivera was so proud of her and keeped teasing her with her "I told you so".
