Her name is Diana Nyad and she is 64 years old. After five attempts she managed to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage on a distance of 110 000 kilometers in 52 hours.
She didn't sleep during her travel. She succeeded to enter the book of records because she is the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage.
She arrived at 2 PM after 52 hours of swimming.
It's a huge feat (accomplishment) !
