The moonless night: Deep and impenetrable. Dark and disturbing. In the heart of the forest, the animal's high-pitched cries echo. The foliage moves in places. Something moves before it disappears. Paul advances cautiously by putting his lamp straight ahead. It lies on a wide dirt road, the main path of the forest. The lights, a few houses on the edge of the woods, have now disappeared. The young man sinks into the darkness where the cold of October reigns. A branch breaks, followed by footsteps. Paul directs the lamp in every corner. His heart is racing, he stops breathing. Suddenly, a dark form springs out of nowhere and rushes towards him. Paul is scared. He continues his nocturnal hike.
